It is recommended to start a childbirth preparation course around the 20th week of pregnancy. This will give you enough time to absorb the information and practice the techniques you will learn without being too close to the due date. The courses are designed to prepare you both physically and emotionally, and starting during this period ensures that you approach the birth of your baby with confidence and calmness.

Is it necessary to take a childbirth preparation course if I have already had a child?
Even if you have already had a child, it is highly recommended to repeat the childbirth preparation course, as each pregnancy and birth is unique. Additionally, you will be able to choose the classes that interest you most, and the courses have evolved and may offer you new and updated information. While it may seem like you know everything, this course will provide a space for you to reconnect with your body and the experience of childbirth.
